General Practitioner – Full-Time

About the role

Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children is seeking a compassionate General Practitioner to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care across a broad spectrum of medical conditions in a leading women’s and children’s specialty hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions following evidence‑based guidelines.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and monitor patient progress.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and lifestyle counseling to patients and families.
• Order, interpret, and act on laboratory and imaging investigations.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records within the hospital’s electronic medical record system.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree with appropriate licensing to practice in the UAE.
• Demonstrated clinical competence in primary care and general medicine.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and a diverse clinical team.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
