Global Process Owner - Purchase to Pay

About the role

The Finance Global Process Owner - Purchase to Pay oversees the entire purchase-to-pay process on a global scale, covering accounts payable, vendor management and payment processing. The role ensures efficient and accurate financial operations across regions, drives continuous improvement and compliance with international financial regulations, and may be based in Amman, Cairo or Dubai depending on the candidate's location and business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the global P2P Shared Service Centre team and oversee the end-to-end P2P process for more than $2 billion in direct and indirect purchases
• Develop strategies to optimise cash flow, reduce days payable outstanding (DPO) and improve vendor relationships
• Ensure timely, compliant processing of invoices and payments, and prepare regular performance reports for senior management
• Manage global accounts payable, handle month-end closing, and lead transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with procurement, operations and other departments globally to resolve payment and vendor issues

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• At least 10 to 15 years of progressive finance experience focused on purchase-to-pay, with proven leadership in multinational finance functions
• Professional credentials such as CPA, CMA, ACCA or CIMA
• Experience leading finance transformation and managing large shared services centres or global finance operations

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics
• Familiarity with workflow automation and financial technology tools
• Leadership, analytical, communication and regulatory compliance skills
