Investment Manager – Data Centre

About the role

A reputed client based in Dubai is looking for an Investment Manager focused on data centre projects. The role covers the full investment cycle, from identifying and evaluating opportunities through to structuring, due diligence, deal execution and portfolio monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment activities for data centre projects in Dubai, including opportunity identification, evaluation, structuring and execution.
• Carry out detailed financial modelling, feasibility studies, valuation and investment return analysis for data centre assets and development opportunities.
• Evaluate opportunities against market demand, capacity, location, power availability, infrastructure, construction costs and long-term revenue potential.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, operators, investors, lenders, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Support due diligence across commercial, financial, technical, legal, regulatory and operational aspects.
• Prepare investment proposals, business cases, board presentations and investment committee materials with recommendations and risk assessments.
• Monitor market trends, data centre demand, hyperscaler requirements, colocation opportunities and emerging trends across the UAE and wider GCC.
• Identify joint ventures, acquisitions, partnerships and development opportunities to grow the data centre portfolio.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors during transaction structuring, negotiations, documentation, financial close and post-investment activities.
• Track portfolio performance, returns, milestones and risks, and recommend strategies to maximise asset value.
