Golf Operations Manager

About the role

Al Zorah Golf & Yacht Club, an award‑winning championship course designed by Nicklaus Design and managed by Troon, is seeking a Golf Operations Manager to lead daily golf operations, retail, tournaments and membership services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the Golf Department, ensuring exceptional service for members, guests and visitors.
• Recruit, develop and motivate the Golf Operations team.
• Oversee tee‑sheet management, tournaments, member events and overall golf operations.
• Drive exceptional guest experiences and commercial performance.
• Manage retail and merchandise sales.
• Ensure quality assurance and adherence to golf rules and operating systems.
• Prepare financial reports and monitor revenue.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar golf operations role.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong operational focus on member/guest experience and quality assurance.
• Working knowledge of golf rules, operating systems and POS.
• Experience with financial reporting and general reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Creativity to drive revenue from golf rounds and merchandise.
