Goods Flow Team Leader – Retail

About the role

The Goods Flow Group Leader supports the Goods Flow Manager by leading the goods flow team to ensure maximum goods availability and efficient customer order fulfillment while minimizing costs. This role coordinates logistics operations, ensures compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, and promotes IKEA values and culture within the team.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the Goods Flow team to optimise short‑term store capacity, balancing inbound and outbound volumes.
• Ensure the team complies with IKEA’s code of conduct, internal regulations and local health, safety, security and environmental legislation.
• Provide goods flow input to the logistics action plan and implement improvements in inbound and outbound processes.
• Share knowledge of efficient goods flow operations and support competence development, including health‑and‑safety practices.
• Secure daily goods flow operations that guarantee superior customer experience through product quality, merchandising and stock accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in goods flow or supply chain management.
• Knowledge of retail operations and fast‑paced environments.
• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong command of English; Arabic is a plus.
