Senior Inventory Management Officer

flydubai is seeking a Senior Officer to lead inventory management in Dubai. The role focuses on optimizing seat allocation, overbooking strategies, and data‑driven decisions to maximize network revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and validate system‑generated inventory recommendations to ensure optimal seat allocation across assigned markets.
• Apply overbooking strategies at the cabin level by evaluating show‑up rates, historical patterns, and cancellation trends.
• Conduct detailed analysis of booking trends, market dynamics, and POS‑OD mix to guide data‑driven inventory decisions.
• Evaluate aircraft capacity and configuration needs, providing strategic recommendations to Network Planning and Operations teams.
• Coordinate with Airport Operations to proactively manage overbooked flights and minimize denied boardings.
• Monitor demand shifts, booking behaviours, and competitor movements to keep pricing and inventory strategies agile.
• Perform post‑departure flight analysis to assess the impact of inventory decisions and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in aviation management, mathematics, economics, or business management.
• Fluent in English.
• Minimum three years of experience in airline commercial operations or a related field.
