Graduate Cost Estimation Engineer (UAE National)

About the role

The Graduate Cost Estimation Engineer will support project teams throughout all phases of delivery, ensuring that budgets, cost monitoring and financial reporting are accurate and aligned with project scope. This position is open to UAE nationals and offers the opportunity to work on large‑scale engineering, construction and energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project cost budgets and forecasts.
• Track expenditures, monitor variances and prepare cost reports, cash‑flow forecasts and financial dashboards.
• Support change management by evaluating cost impacts and applying earned value management principles.
• Identify cost risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with project controls, planning, procurement and construction teams to collect and consolidate cost data.
• Interface with finance for invoicing, accruals and cost actuals.
• Communicate cost performance clearly to project managers and senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Cost Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience on engineering, construction, energy or infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of project cost management principles, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Experience in EPC, PMC or Owner’s Engineer environments is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as AACE CCP, PMP or related credentials are an advantage.
