Graduate Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Penspen is recruiting fresh Mechanical Engineering graduates to join its Development Discipline Engineering team in Abu Dhabi, as part of a strategic initiative to strengthen the UAE's national talent pool. The role supports the engineering team on projects and within the business as required.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a relevant discipline from a recognised university; a Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Essential: 0-3 years of Oil & Gas experience.
• Advantage: previous experience in the region, oil & gas design experience, and familiarity with international codes, standards and engineering practices.

Required skills

• Solid university training in mechanical and/or piping engineering design.
• Knowledge of basic engineering processes and basic design concepts.
• Ability to analyse engineering problems and prepare non-critical engineering design documents.
• Ability to prepare engineering deliverables to company technical competency standards.
• Added advantage: knowledge of 2D and 3D CADD applications, PDS or equivalent software.

The position is a full-time fixed-term contract in the Engineering job family, closing on 30 November 2026.
