Graphics Designer – Media & Communications

About the role

Sky News Arabia is seeking a Graphics Designer to create clear, brand‑consistent visual communication across editorial, marketing, digital, social, print and event channels. You will translate briefs into strong concepts, layouts and production‑ready assets while working within established brand systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop visual concepts and polished design solutions for stories, campaigns, social media, digital products, presentations, print and events.
• Produce infographics, charts, maps and data visualisations, ensuring data accuracy.
• Adapt master creative across formats, languages, resolutions and accessibility requirements.
• Prepare production‑ready artwork, source files and handover packages for print and digital distribution.
• Collaborate with art directors, motion designers, editors, marketers, journalists and product teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field.
• At least 2 years of professional graphic design experience in an agency, publishing, broadcast or in‑house studio.
• Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Strong attention to detail, disciplined file management and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Working knowledge of Figma.
• Experience with After Effects or basic motion design.
• Use of AI‑assisted tooling within approved workflows.
• Knowledge of Arabic and Latin bilingual typography and layout.
