Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Dubai

About the role

Scovai is seeking a seasoned Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its finance function in Dubai. The CFO will partner with the CEO and Board to drive restructuring, transformation, and capital optimisation across the group’s manufacturing and industrial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and Board to design and execute restructuring and transformation strategies.
• Lead all financial aspects of turnaround initiatives, liquidity improvement, and working‑capital optimisation.
• Drive cost optimisation, operational efficiency, and margin enhancement across manufacturing and supply‑chain functions.
• Negotiate with banks, lenders and financial institutions; manage refinancing, covenant compliance, debt restructuring and capital optimisation.
• Support capital‑market transactions, including IPO readiness, equity fundraising and rights issues while ensuring robust corporate governance.
• Oversee accounting, treasury, taxation, audit, budgeting, planning and financial reporting to ensure timely, accurate results.
• Lead cash preservation, liquidity management and rigorous cash‑forecasting processes.
• Serve as the primary financial interface with banks, investors, auditors and advisors.
• Build, develop and lead a high‑performing finance organisation, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale manufacturing or industrial turnarounds and restructuring initiatives.
• Deep expertise in MENA cross‑border capital markets, syndicated debt and lender negotiations.
• Track record of group‑wide digital finance transformation and ERP modernisation.
• Strategic M&A integration or portfolio optimisation experience across diversified business units.
• Advanced knowledge of UAE/GCC regulatory compliance and ESG reporting frameworks.
