Group Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Group CFO will lead the financial strategy and operations for a well‑established, growing and diversified energy group based in Dubai. This senior executive role reports to the Group CEO and works closely with the board to drive financial performance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the group’s financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and capital allocation.
• Oversee all finance functions, including accounting, treasury, tax, reporting and compliance.
• Provide financial insight and risk management to support strategic decisions and growth initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with investors, banks and external auditors, ensuring transparent communication.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CFO of a Fortune 500 listed company.
• Demonstrated success in a CFO role within a publicly listed organisation.
• Energy sector experience is a plus, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in the Middle East or Gulf region.
• University degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
