Assistant Manager – Compliance

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Compliance will support the Head of Compliance in implementing and supervising the anti‑money‑laundering (AML) framework across Al Rostamani International Exchange, ensuring adherence to Central Bank regulations and correspondent bank requirements. The role involves risk assessment, policy development, training, and coordination with internal and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Assume the duties of the Head of Compliance in their absence.
• Assist in implementing and supervising the AML compliance framework in line with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct AML committee meetings and act on decisions.
• Attend seminars and workshops organized by regulatory authorities and correspondent banks.
• Support Central Bank inspections, raise suspicious transaction reports, and analyse queries from banks.
• Develop and deliver AML training to staff, testing knowledge regularly.
• Liaise with external AML auditors and ensure periodic testing of new processes and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services with at least 5 years in compliance.
• AML certification from a reputable institution.
