Group Director – Strategy and Technology Operations

About the role

DP World is seeking a senior leader to drive the execution of its technology and business strategy across the organization. Reporting to senior executives, the Group Director will ensure that strategic initiatives deliver measurable business value and align with the company’s long‑term goals.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and technology strategy into clear, outcome‑driven execution priorities.
• Maintain an executive‑level view of performance across logistics technology, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions.
• Align product, engineering, architecture, finance, HR and PMO functions to operate as an integrated system.
• Drive financial rigor in budgeting, forecasting, cost management and headcount planning.
• Run the leadership operating cadence, preparing decision‑ready insights for the EVP and senior team.
• Identify structural inefficiencies and champion continuous improvement across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 12–18 years of experience in strategy, operations or transformation roles within technology‑focused organizations.
• Proven ability to work at the executive level and influence without direct authority.
• Experience in large, complex, global environments and delivering cross‑functional alignment.
