Group Director- Strategy & Technology Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Group Director to lead Strategy & Technology Operations in Dubai. The role will translate business and technology strategy into actionable priorities, ensuring alignment with measurable business value across the logistics technology organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive execution priorities that deliver revenue, cost, customer experience and efficiency gains.
• Provide an executive‑level view of performance, synthesize inputs from product, engineering and PMO, and deliver actionable insights.
• Align product, engineering, architecture, finance, HR and PMO as an integrated system, resolving cross‑functional friction.
• Enforce financial discipline through budgeting, forecasting, cost management, headcount planning and vendor spend alignment.
• Run the leadership operating rhythm, prepare decision‑ready insights for the EVP and senior team, and ensure outcome‑focused discussions.
• Identify structural inefficiencies, promote consistent ways of working and foster a culture of accountability and transparency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field; MBA preferred.
• 12–18 years of experience in strategy, operations or transformation within technology organisations.
• Proven ability to work at executive level (CIO/CTO/EVP interface) in large, complex, global environments.
• Demonstrated track record of driving cross‑functional alignment and organisational transformation.
