Group Leader - Global Sourcing

About the role

Kanadevia Inova is seeking a Group Leader for Global Sourcing to drive high‑quality sourcing outcomes across its waste‑to‑value business units. You will lead strategic, complex sourcing initiatives and manage a team of Global Sourcing Managers to support the company’s sustainable energy and environmental solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic, business‑critical sourcing projects across regions and business units.
• Conduct end‑to‑end sourcing activities: market analysis, global supplier scouting, pre‑qualification and benchmarking.
• Provide senior sourcing expertise in escalated or high‑risk situations.
• Manage and develop a team of Global Sourcing Managers, setting goals, priorities and performance expectations.
• Allocate sourcing work based on complexity, risk and capacity.
• Act as the primary interface between internal stakeholders and the global sourcing organization.
• Capture and consolidate global sourcing demand across functions.
• Lead initiatives in Energy from Waste, Renewable Gas, Carbon Capture, Systems & Services.
• Contribute market intelligence and sourcing insights to strategic discussions.
• Ensure disciplined use of sourcing tools, ERP systems and related processes.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback and support individual development plans.

Required profile

• 10+ years experience in sourcing, strategic procurement or related fields.
• Proven team leadership and international experience.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering or similar.
• Fluent English; additional languages a plus.
• Experience with category management methodologies, supplier and contract management.
• Player‑coach leadership style with strong analytical and strategic thinking.
