Groups and Events Specialist – Sales & Marketing

About the role

The Groups and Events Specialist supports the Sales & Marketing team at The Ritz‑Carlton Dubai by handling office duties, preparing sales documents and acting as a primary contact for clients. The role ensures brand standards are upheld and contributes to revenue generation while maintaining guest loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general office tasks such as filing, emailing, typing, faxing and copying to support the Sales & Marketing department.
• Prepare and assemble sales‑related documents, proposals, contracts and banquet event orders throughout the sales process.
• Promote brand awareness internally and externally, gather promotional materials and create information packages.
• Enter, retrieve, reconcile and verify sales data, commissions and leads in the relevant software systems.
• Respond to guest inquiries about property facilities, rates, packages and events via phone and email.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience in sales, events or hospitality.
• Professional appearance and ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and write accurately.
