Guest Experience Expert – Chinese Speaking

About the role

Join Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa, a Luxury Collection property in Dubai, as a Guest Experience Expert who speaks Chinese. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring seamless check‑ins, check‑outs and memorable stays while representing Marriott’s high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins and check‑outs, handle all payment types and issue room keys.
• Answer guest calls, messages and requests, providing information about the property and local attractions.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure room readiness and manage special requests such as late check‑outs.
• Operate the telephone switchboard, manage GXP functionalities and take room service orders.
• Complete end‑of‑day duties including posting charges, night‑audit backup and cash handling.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar front‑office role, preferably in a 5‑star hotel.
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Outgoing personality with outstanding guest service orientation.
• Knowledge of local attractions and Marriott rewards program.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera, Micros and MARSHA reservation systems.
• Experience using Guest Response Tracking Software (GXP).
• Ability to handle cash, credit and accounting procedures.
