Guest Relations Officer

About the role

The Guest Relations Officer will be the face of Sofitel Dubai The Palm, delivering a warm and genuine welcome to every guest. You will act as a storyteller, sharing the unique Sofitel experience and local cultural insights while ensuring seamless service throughout the guest journey.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the Sofitel brand in the lobby, providing consistent and friendly greetings.
• Engage with guests before arrival, during their stay, and after departure to gather feedback and address needs.
• Handle guest requests such as reservations, special services, and VIP check‑ins, coordinating luggage delivery and personalised assistance.
• Support Front‑of‑House operations during peak periods, assisting with check‑ins, check‑outs and lobby duties.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure VIP rooms and special setups meet standards.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the ALL loyalty programme and assist members in using their benefits.
• Assist in preparing and delivering guest recognition programmes and special events.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable and able to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Passionate about hospitality, travel, culture and the local area.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
