Guest Service Agent

About the role

A Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City hotel in Dubai is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Guest Service Agent. As the face of the hotel, you will ensure guests have an exceptional experience from check-in to check-out.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and check them in efficiently, giving a friendly and professional first impression
• Handle guest inquiries, requests and concerns promptly and courteously
• Process check-outs and handle billing accurately
• Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and resolve issues
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, local attractions and events
• Promote hotel amenities and loyalty programs to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue
• Handle reservations and room assignments efficiently
• Keep the front desk clean and organised
• Assist with administrative tasks such as report generation and inventory management
• Follow hotel policies and safety procedures at all times

Required profile

• Previous guest service experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Fluent written and spoken Arabic is required
• Good written and verbal English
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related education is a plus
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to stay calm and empathetic when dealing with guest complaints
• Knowledge of UAE culture and customs is beneficial
