Guest Service Officer

About the role

The Guest Service Officer is the first point of contact for guests at Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai. You will ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences while delivering warm, personalized hospitality that reflects the brand’s purpose of caring for people.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and deliver exceptional service throughout their stay.
• Manage check‑in and check‑out procedures accurately, including room assignments, registration, billing and payments.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests and concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
• Handle complaints and service‑recovery situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel facilities, services, promotions, loyalty programmes and local attractions.
• Process reservations, room changes, special requests and guest profiles according to Hyatt standards.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Operate front‑office systems, maintain guest records and complete administrative documentation.
• Perform cashiering duties such as cash handling, foreign‑currency exchange, room‑charge posting and billing reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards, health, safety, security and confidentiality policies.

• Good knowledge of hotel facilities, promotions and local attractions.
