About the role

A Gym Trainer plays a crucial role in helping individuals achieve their fitness goals by assessing physical fitness, creating tailored exercise plans, and ensuring safe execution of workouts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop customized fitness programs based on individual client needs and goals.
• Demonstrate proper exercise techniques to minimize injury risk.
• Provide motivation, continuous feedback, and track client progress.
• Maintain client records and adjust programs as needed.
• Educate clients on nutrition and hydration importance.
• Stay updated with latest fitness trends and research.
• Maintain gym equipment and report maintenance issues.
• Conduct fitness assessments and health history reviews.
• Lead group fitness sessions, ensuring engagement and motivation.
• Promote a safe and positive training environment.

Required profile

• Certification in personal training or a related fitness field.
• Proven experience as a fitness trainer or similar role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of exercise physiology and biomechanics.
• Ability to motivate and inspire clients.
• Knowledge of various fitness programs and equipment usage.
• Flexibility to work weekends or evenings.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
• First Aid certification.
• Personal Training certification.
