Head of AI Platforms

About the role

Al‑Futtaim Automotive is building a connected ecosystem where AI, automation and data transform customer experiences across multiple automotive brands. As Head of AI Platforms you will design, build and operate a unified AI platform that becomes the intelligent operating layer for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation of an AI orchestration layer supporting agentic AI, AI‑powered automation and enterprise workflow orchestration.
• Define and implement API‑first, event‑driven and cloud‑native architectures for large‑scale experimentation and optimization.
• Turn machine‑learning models into enterprise‑grade services and establish MLOps/LLMOps pipelines.
• Embed AI capabilities into customer, commercial and operational journeys across sales, after‑sales, mobility, leasing and corporate functions.
• Collaborate with technology, product, data and business teams to deliver measurable business value through intelligent automation and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science or a related technical discipline; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
• 12+ years of software/platform engineering experience with at least 5 years leading engineering or AI teams.
• Proven track record of building and scaling enterprise‑grade platforms and delivering AI/ML solutions in production.
