Head Of Enterprise IT SAP Finance HR And Group Functions

About the role

Etihad Airways is looking for an experienced Head of Enterprise IT to steer a large‑scale SAP S/4HANA transformation covering Finance, Procurement, Human Resources and other core group functions. The role combines strategic planning, programme governance and hands‑on delivery to ensure the new ERP platform drives business efficiency and digital growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of the SAP S/4HANA transformation programme across Finance, Procurement, HR and related functions.
• Define and execute the ERP transformation roadmap aligned with corporate digital objectives.
• Establish programme governance, budget controls, risk management and benefits realization frameworks.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, HR and Technology stakeholders to design future‑state processes and technology solutions.
• Manage system integrators, consulting partners, vendors and internal delivery teams through design, build, testing, data migration, cut‑over, deployment and hyper‑care phases.
• Lead business readiness, change management, training and adoption activities.
• Provide regular executive reporting and steering‑committee updates.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to enhance ERP outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience leading large‑scale enterprise transformation programmes.
• At least 8 years of SAP programme delivery experience, including a full SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Proven track record delivering Finance, Procurement and HR transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience managing large implementation budgets, external vendors and system integrators.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
