IT Infrastructure Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Lead to own enterprise IT operations across on‑premises and cloud environments. This hands‑on position will drive infrastructure administration, networking, cybersecurity, virtualization, and multi‑site IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead administration of Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud environments and cloud migration initiatives.
• Manage Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and file services.
• Administer and optimise VMware vSphere and Hyper‑V virtualised environments.
• Design, implement and support enterprise LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VLANs, routing and multi‑site connectivity.
• Oversee network security solutions including FortiGate, Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, NAC and Azure security controls.
• Direct Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and endpoint management.
• Lead backup, disaster recovery operations, restore testing and business continuity planning.
• Support Oracle on‑premises infrastructure and Oracle OCI environments.
• Drive monitoring, capacity planning, patch management and system performance optimisation.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices, security hardening, EDR solutions and compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
• 7‑10 years of hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, networking and security.
• Proven experience in multi‑site enterprise environments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AZ‑104, CCNA, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto, ITIL) are highly desirable.
