Head of Enterprise Risk & Controls (Fintech)

About the role

Optasia, a fast‑growing B2B2X fintech platform, is looking for a senior professional to lead its Enterprise Risk & Controls function. Reporting to the VP of Enterprise Risk, Compliance & Assurance, you will shape risk strategy, embed governance, and build a high‑performing risk team across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve an enterprise risk management framework aligned with ISO 31000 and COSO.
• Define risk governance structures, escalation protocols and decision‑making rights.
• Develop and maintain risk policies, risk appetite statements and supporting standards.
• Coordinate integrated annual report disclosures on risk management, principal risks and control effectiveness.
• Establish systems for tracking principal risks, key risk indicators and risk metrics.
• Prepare regular risk reports for the Board, executive leadership and Risk Committee.
• Provide risk advisory services to support strategic and operational decisions.

Required profile

• Approximately 15 years of experience in risk management, internal controls or related fields.
• Proven track record of leading risk functions in high‑growth, technology‑driven organisations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence Board and C‑suite audiences.
• Experience translating regulatory expectations into scalable operating models.
