Head of Finance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead the finance, reporting and treasury functions of a multi‑entity agribusiness operating across the Middle East and Africa. The role reports to executive management and partners closely with commercial teams to drive growth and financial governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group finance, accounting and IFRS consolidation across multiple entities and geographies.
• Own management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning.
• Manage treasury, liquidity, funding and working capital, including banking facilities, cash‑flow forecasting, FX exposure and hedging.
• Partner with sales, trading, procurement and operations on pricing, margins and profitability decisions.
• Develop financial models and business cases for new markets, products and investments.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance, audit and statutory compliance.
• Drive finance systems automation and NetSuite optimisation.
• Build, develop and lead a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong background in commodities, agricultural trading, FMCG or distribution.
• Hands‑on expertise in IFRS, multi‑entity consolidation and management reporting.
• Proven treasury, liquidity, working‑capital and FX‑hedging experience.
• Commercial understanding of trading, sales, pricing and profitability.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA or CIMA) preferred.
• Experience across multiple jurisdictions, preferably in the Middle East or Africa.
