Head of Finance – Lead Financial Strategy & Operations

About the role

The Head of Finance will partner directly with the CEO and senior leadership to drive financial performance, governance and operational effectiveness across the business. This role provides critical insight for sustainable growth and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee receivables, billing, collections and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Lead end‑to‑end procure‑to‑pay and accounts payable processes.
• Manage payroll accuracy, controls and reporting in collaboration with HR.
• Direct monthly and annual financial close, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare management accounts, financial reports and variance analysis for Group Finance.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, FP&A and performance monitoring.
• Maintain cash‑flow, working‑capital and liquidity management.
• Ensure robust financial controls, audit coordination and governance compliance.

Required profile

• 10+ years progressive finance leadership experience.
• 5+ years in a senior finance role within aviation, aerospace, MRO, engineering, transportation or logistics.
• Proven track record in finance business partnering, performance management and operational improvement.
• Experience in matrix or multi‑entity organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to support strategic investments and transformation programmes.
