Head of Finance – Multi-Entity Trading Group

About the role

Techniline Electronics, a 30‑year‑old UAE trading group, is seeking a fully qualified accountant to step up from Finance Manager to own the entire finance function across five legal entities. Reporting directly to the CEO and MD, you will have immediate CEO‑level exposure and full responsibility for financial stewardship.

Key responsibilities

• Close monthly books by day 7 and produce consolidated financial statements for all entities.
• Track weekly gross‑profit margins and conduct monthly margin analysis by brand, channel, and segment.
• Maintain a rolling 6‑week cash‑flow forecast and a quarterly 3‑month P&L forecast.
• Review daily cash position, approve payments, and manage banking relationships (NBF, ADCB, BOB, Mashreq).
• Coordinate statutory audits, three‑way reconciliations, and ensure 100 % on‑time UAE VAT filings and corporate tax compliance.
• Oversee accounts receivable (≥90 % within credit terms), supervise accounts payable, and ensure stock valuation integrity.
• Lead the finance team and partner with Sales, Procurement, and Warehouse functions.
• Present monthly financial results to the leadership team and contribute to ERP enhancements, MIS automation, and new revenue process design.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, ICAEW, CA, CMA, or CPA) – no part‑qualified candidates.
• Minimum 8 years total finance experience, with at least 4 years in the UAE.
• Hands‑on experience in UAE trading, distribution, or retail environments.
• Proven multi‑entity consolidation experience.
• Strong bias for action, intellectual honesty, and hands‑on leadership style.
