Head of HR – Surgery Emerging Markets & EMEA A&R

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a senior HR leader to serve as Business Unit Head of HR for Surgery Emerging Markets and A&R EMEA. Based in Dubai, you will act as a strategic partner to the surgery leadership team, guide the BUHR team across the EM region, and support the A&R function throughout EMEA.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR partnership to the Surgery EM leadership team and BUHR team.
• Shape and execute data‑driven talent strategies that align with business goals.
• Lead organizational design initiatives, including legal reviews, notifications, and post‑change integration.
• Partner with the OneHR model to deliver talent, workforce planning, and change management solutions.
• Coach leaders, improve team effectiveness, and steward a culture that attracts and retains top talent.
• Contribute to business strategy discussions, financial planning, and long‑range workforce forecasting.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR business partner or leader in a complex, multinational environment.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to diagnose organizational health and translate insights into action.
• Expertise in organizational design, change management, and talent strategy implementation.
• Excellent influencing skills and the ability to work across functions and regions.
• Experience coaching senior leaders and driving cultural initiatives.
