Head of Mechanical Manufacturing

About the role

The Head of Mechanical Manufacturing will lead EDGE Group’s CNC machining, surface‑treatment and overall mechanical manufacturing operations. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure safe, efficient, high‑quality production that meets both business and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead CNC machining, surface‑treatment and manufacturing teams to achieve production, quality and delivery targets.
• Manage production planning, capacity, manpower, equipment utilization and resource allocation.
• Prepare production readiness for new products, including tooling, processes, materials and documentation.
• Oversee third‑party engineering and industrialisation partners, ensuring timely technical support.
• Monitor operational KPIs such as output, utilization, downtime, scrap, rework and on‑time delivery.
• Drive quality, compliance, traceability and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop and manage manufacturing teams, fostering accountability and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards while maintaining equipment reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in CNC machining, mechanical manufacturing or related industries.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale production operations and cross‑functional coordination.
