Head of Performing Arts

About the role

The Westminster School, Dubai is seeking an experienced Head of Performing Arts to lead its Music and Dramatics programmes. The successful candidate will inspire students, oversee curriculum delivery, and raise the profile of the school's artistic productions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver a comprehensive performing‑arts curriculum for all year groups.
• Direct high‑production‑value music and drama events, including concerts, plays and festivals.
• Mentor and develop teaching staff within the performing‑arts department.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate arts education across the school.
• Manage budgets, resources and external partnerships related to performances.

Required profile

• Minimum 7‑8 years of teaching experience in music, drama or related performing‑arts disciplines.
• Formal qualifications in Music Education or Dramatics (distance learning not accepted).
• Proven track record of organising large‑scale artistic productions.
