Head Teller – Dubai (UAE Nationals Only)

About the role

Emirates NBD is seeking a Head Teller to lead its teller team in Dubai. The role involves supervising daily cash operations, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, and delivering high‑quality customer service while supporting the bank’s digital transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and train tellers on cash‑handling procedures, customer service standards and regulatory compliance.
• Validate and approve all teller transactions within delegated authority limits.
• Maintain daily cash reconciliation, monitor vault levels and ensure security protocols are followed.
• Resolve routine transaction issues and escalations, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
• Communicate with other business units to address service‑related matters and ensure timely escalation when required.

Required profile

• UAE national with a minimum of 24 months of relevant teller or cash‑handling experience.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements and risk‑management practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team in a fast‑paced environment.
