Head Waiter – French Speaking

About the role

Fundamental Hospitality is seeking an experienced, French‑speaking Head Waiter to lead the service team at one of its nightlife restaurants in Dubai. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while maintaining the venue’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the service team throughout each shift, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Oversee service of an assigned section, maintaining consistently high standards.
• Welcome and engage guests, creating a warm and memorable experience.
• Coordinate with Management and Reception to manage guest flow and table allocation.
• Ensure all service standards, procedures, and presentation guidelines are followed.
• Anticipate guest needs and handle requests or concerns professionally.
• Support training and development of waitstaff and other service team members.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, beverages, and current promotions.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, or similar role in a high‑end restaurant, luxury hospitality, or nightlife environment.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service and guest experience.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a service team in a fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both French and English.
• Polished, confident, guest‑focused personality with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
