Head Waitress – Lobby Lounge

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head Waitress to lead the service team in the award‑winning Raffles Salon, the lobby lounge of Raffles Dubai. Reporting to the Outlets Supervisor, you will ensure the highest standards of service, guest satisfaction and operational efficiency in a luxury 5‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain LQA service standards for the outlet and act on VIP arrivals.
• Read daily reports and hotel updates, arriving 10 minutes before shift start.
• Know all food and beverage menu items, garnishes, preparation methods and convey information to guests.
• Present children’s menus, describe specials and alternative cuisine.
• Serve and clear food and beverage unobtrusively using appropriate service ware.
• Operate the POS system to ring up sales, print and close checks, and complete cash‑out procedures.
• Carry trays, bus and reset tables with linen, china, glassware and silverware.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, resolve issues promptly and inform the supervisor of any problems.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a senior waiting or supervisory role within luxury hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus and ability to communicate details clearly.
• Excellent attention to detail, punctuality and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
