Healthcare Assistant (Dubai)

About the role

The Healthcare Assistant will work under the direct supervision of a Registered or Assistant Nurse, delivering safe and compassionate care to patients in Dubai. This role supports NMC Healthcare's mission, vision, and values by ensuring each patient receives individualized attention at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Assist registered nurses with routine clinical tasks and patient care activities.
• Monitor and record vital signs, patient observations, and report changes to the nursing team.
• Support patients with activities of daily living, including mobility, hygiene, and feeding.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and visitors.
• Document care provided accurately in patient records.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant healthcare certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare assistant or similar role.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow clinical protocols.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate attitude toward patients.
• Basic literacy and numeracy for documentation purposes.
