Healthcare Assistant – OPD Nursing Services

About the role

The Healthcare Assistant will support the OPD (Out‑Patient Department) nursing team at Aster Hospital Al Qusais. This position involves direct patient interaction, assisting nurses with routine clinical tasks, and ensuring a smooth flow of services in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with patient preparation, vital sign monitoring, and basic bedside care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of OPD treatment areas.
• Transport patients to and from examination rooms as required.
• Document patient information accurately in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Support infection‑control measures and adhere to safety standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare‑related certification preferred.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.

• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends if needed.
