Healthcare Nutrition Specialist – Medical Representative

About the role

Danone MENA is seeking a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist (medical representative) to promote its Specialized Nutrition portfolio across the UAE. You will build scientific relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and drive market share for Danone’s nutrition solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, clinics and private practices regularly to influence HCP attitudes and position Danone’s nutrition products as the preferred choice.
• Deliver scientific audio‑visual presentations and detailed product information to doctors, KOLs and other HCPs.
• Identify business opportunities, implement weekly call cycles, and develop tactics to protect market position against competitors.
• Maintain high product knowledge, respond to HCP queries, and manage customer complaints.
• Prepare and submit promotional activity reports, ensuring compliance with WHO and local regulations for infant formula.
• Organise and conduct seminars, nutrition education events, and medical detailing sessions.
• Manage daily database updates and adhere to administrative processes.
• Track and achieve quantitative and qualitative KPIs on a daily, monthly and yearly basis.
• Collect market intelligence on HCPs and competitor activities, and share insights with the team.

Required profile

• Motivated healthcare nutrition specialist with a strong scientific background.
• Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with HCPs.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting clinical data and product benefits.
• Results‑driven mindset with a focus on meeting sales and KPI targets.
