Heavy Vehicle / Car Carrier Driver – UAE Logistics

About the role

The Heavy Vehicle Driver will operate heavy‑duty trucks, including car carriers and trailers, to transport equipment and goods across the United Arab Emirates. The role emphasizes safety, timely delivery, and a damage‑free service record while coordinating closely with planning staff and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive class 4 heavy goods vehicles with trailers, including car carriers, flat‑bed and low‑bed trucks.
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring secure transport of equipment and goods to various UAE locations.
• Maintain economical fuel consumption, complete trip documentation, and keep the driver logbook up to date.
• Inspect trucks and loads for defects before, during and after trips, reporting any issues promptly.
• Act as the communication link between customers and the planning team, handling inquiries diplomatically.

Required profile

• Matriculation (high school) qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience driving class 4 vehicles with trailers.
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures.
• Strong teamwork and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proven operation of class 4 heavy goods vehicles with trailers.
• Excellent knowledge of UAE roads and RTA regulations.
• Basic automotive maintenance procedures.
