Homeroom Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Homeroom Teacher for Mubarak Bin Mohamed Charter School in Abu Dhabi with an immediate start. The role involves delivering high‑quality, inclusive lessons and fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver inspiring lessons that meet the American curriculum requirements.
• Plan and organise classroom resources, displays and learning environments.
• Assess, record and analyse student progress using Target Tracker.
• Collaborate with colleagues, curriculum support staff and external specialists.
• Communicate regularly with parents and support their children’s academic outcomes.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school policy.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, school events and weekly ECA sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with EAL learners.
• Passion for whole‑child education and high professional standards.
• Clean enhanced DBS/police check.
• Residency in the same emirate as the school.
• Commitment to extra‑curricular activities and school community life.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Target Tracker assessment system.
• Experience using CPOMS for parent‑teacher communication.
