Primary Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join Noya British School on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, with an immediate start. The role involves delivering the British curriculum to a diverse classroom and contributing to a vibrant, inclusive school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet the British curriculum standards and cater for the full ability range.
• Assess student progress using tools such as Target Tracker and provide constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and external specialists (e.g., speech therapists) to support individual learner needs.
• Maintain classroom discipline in line with the school’s behaviour policy and act as a positive role model.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities and parent‑teacher conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification; documents must be attested.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is an additional language.
• Clean enhanced DBS/police check and willingness to reside in the same emirate as the school.
• Demonstrated passion for whole‑child education and commitment to the school’s values and sustainability ethos.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Target Tracker assessment system.
• Familiarity with the CPOMS safeguarding platform.
