About the role

International Community Schools (ICS) in Khalifa City is seeking an enthusiastic Homeroom Teacher for its Kindergarten (KG) cycle. The role involves delivering an American curriculum to young learners in a vibrant international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate instruction aligned with Common Core State Standards and US‑based frameworks.
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment for KG students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and differentiated instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student growth and well‑being.
• Participate actively in professional development and school‑wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching license/certification for Early Childhood or Elementary Education.
• Minimum of 4 years full‑time KG teaching experience, preferably in an international school.
• High cultural sensitivity and adaptability to a diverse environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
