About the role
The Indian Academy Dubai is seeking experienced homeroom and primary teachers for its British Curriculum programme. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons in English, science or mathematics to lower‑primary students while fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons for primary classes.
- Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects.
- Uphold the KHDA framework and school safeguarding policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Education (mandatory) and a relevant subject degree or postgraduate qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience teaching lower‑primary classes.
- Strong English communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Commitment to child welfare and safeguarding.
- Ability to start immediately.
Required skills
- Knowledge of the KHDA educational framework.
