Hospitality Accountant – UAE

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Accountant with solid experience in the hospitality sector to oversee financial transactions, reporting and budgeting for our hotel and restaurant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll.
• Produce accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Process and reconcile daily cash receipts and credit‑card payments.
• Monitor expenses against budget and company goals.
• Assist in preparing forecasts, budgets and cash‑flow analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with VAT and local tax regulations.
• Manage and reconcile hotel/restaurant revenue from POS and reservation systems.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
• Handle banking relationships and cash‑flow management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of accounting experience within hotels, resorts or restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and local accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
