Hostess – Guest Service

Key responsibilities

• Work as a team with colleagues to ensure timely service and smooth operation.
• Understand and adhere to all hotel policies and Standard Operating Procedures regarding guest service, operation, personal discipline, and grooming.
• Perform every guest interaction in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Maintain professional telephone etiquette and a perfect understanding of reservation policies and procedures.
• Be completely familiar with the services offered in the restaurant and throughout the hotel.
• Greet and seat guests in the restaurant warmly, setting the tone of welcoming hospitality for the entire guest experience.
• Ensure the front of the restaurant is always covered and the entrance remains welcoming and attractive.
• Check each table to ensure it is clean and fully set up before guests are seated.
• Seek guest feedback on the quality of their experience.
• Share any problems with outlet managers and resolve them promptly.
• Pitch in and help in service whenever the need arises.
• Work with the Cashier and relieve Cashiers on break.
