Hostess – Lobby Lounge (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to manage the lobby lounge of Raffles the Palm Dubai. The role involves greeting guests, handling reservations and ensuring a smooth flow of diners in the restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, courteous manner and escort them to their tables.
• Take telephone bookings, record them in an organised reservation book and update the guest database.
• Control the flow of guests to maximise table turnover while maintaining service quality.
• Assist with table set‑up, displays and ensure the hostess station and surrounding areas remain clean.
• Handle guest enquiries and resolve minor complaints, escalating serious issues to the Supervisor.
• Present checks, perform cashiering duties when required and follow safety, sanitation and hygiene policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues across all departments to deliver seamless service.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in a hotel or restaurant front‑of‑house environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain a professional appearance.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards guest satisfaction.
