About the role
The Hostess will greet and seat guests at Aloft Hotels in Dubai, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable dining experience. The role requires clear communication in Russian and English, maintaining clean work areas, and supporting the service team throughout the shift.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, appropriately set tables.
- Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each guest has napkins, silverware, and other standard items.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
- Monitor seating availability, safety, and guest well‑being, and report any issues to management.
- Adhere to company, safety, and security policies, including uniform standards and confidentiality.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
- Professional appearance and clear, courteous communication in Russian and English.
