Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor (Housekeeping)

About the role

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet the brand’s quality standards after they have been serviced by housekeeping staff. This role acts as a bridge between housekeeping, engineering, front office and laundry to maintain seamless operations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool and other facilities after cleaning to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies and prioritize cleaning tasks.
• Update room status for departing guests and communicate changes to the next shift.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to resolve issues and ensure timely room turnover.
• Assist housekeeping management with daily activities, hiring, training, scheduling and performance coaching.
• Complete required paperwork, safety training and report maintenance or safety hazards.
• Maintain professional appearance, protect company assets and uphold confidentiality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping or hotel operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Physical ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 55 lb and operate housekeeping equipment.
