Hotel Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Hotel Maintenance Technician to join the engineering teams at Grosvenor House Dubai and Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa. You will respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure all hotel facilities operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Execute general maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repair, light‑bulb and filter replacement, and thorough clean‑up of work areas.
• Troubleshoot and repair air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, and fire‑sprinkler or emergency power systems.
• Assist with moving, lifting, and installing objects up to 100 lb and support emergency response procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of general maintenance experience; hotel engineering experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork orientation, and effective time management.
• Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment.
