Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas at the Grand Millennium Al Wahda hotel. Working under the guidance of supervisors, the role ensures that all housekeeping standards, health and safety policies, and environmental procedures are consistently applied.

Key responsibilities

• Collect keys and daily assignments, prepare trolley and equipment for efficient task performance.
• Clean and replenish guest rooms and bathrooms according to the hotel’s Standards of Performance.
• Arrange and tidy guest belongings while cleaning rooms and bathrooms.
• Coordinate with Valet Service to handle guest laundry, dry‑cleaning, or pressing requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, service pantries, and service areas, ensuring a professional appearance.
• Report maintenance‑related issues to the Engineering Department for timely resolution.
• Consider guest needs in public areas and rooms, providing courteous service and ensuring satisfaction.
• Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in line with organizational policies.
