Housekeeping Supervisor / House Manager for Private Residence in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and well‑organized Housekeeping Supervisor / House Manager to lead the domestic staff of a private residence in Dubai. The role involves maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization and presentation while ensuring smooth daily operations of the household.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all maids and domestic staff, allocating daily and weekly duties.
• Monitor cleaning quality throughout the residence, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas and kitchen.
• Oversee laundry, ironing, clothing care and linen management.
• Prepare the house for family gatherings, private events and special occasions, both before and after the events.
• Manage housekeeping supplies, stock levels and reorder when necessary.
• Coordinate staff schedules, breaks, days off and leave.
• Train and guide staff on proper cleaning, laundry and household procedures.
• Ensure staff adhere to standards of hygiene, appearance and conduct.
• Identify and report maintenance issues and liaise with external service providers.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the family’s privacy at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role such as House Manager, Head Housekeeper or Private Household Supervisor.
• Previous experience working in a private residence or family household.
• Proven ability to supervise multiple domestic staff members.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Reliable, trustworthy, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of cleaning, laundry, ironing and linen management.
• Experience in preparing residences for events and family functions.
• Ability to manage inventory of household supplies.
• Familiarity with coordinating external service providers.
